Search for the products or services you offer on Google. If you find any results, people are already looking for them, so Google is likely a safe place for you to advertise.
The second thing you might want to consider is, do you have the budget to invest consistently into Google Ads every month, from a minimum of £20 per day? If so, Google is again a good place for you to advertise.

Target people by interest, demographics or behaviour on the Google Display Network (aka all the websites that allow Google to show ads in exchange for a percentage of your cost per click)
Google Shopping Ads
Targeting people who are looking to buy products similar to yours online (you do need to have your products uploaded to the Google Merchant Centre)
Import your Google Ads into Bing and advertise on the second biggest search engine worldwide
Target people who have already visited your website but haven’t bought from you
